This was my first and only experience so far, so I can not say much about life. But there are some other things to point out to those who are interested in this product Lightweight Upright Vacuum

Hoover Platinum Lightweight Upright Vacuum with Canister, Bagged, UH30010COM
First a disclaimer sort of .... I am a long-term, dead-in-wool Hoover evangelist. No, I do not work for Hoover, but I have always used them religiously for over 30 years. I have tried to turn to other top-of-the-line brands (Oreck, Eureka, Kenmore, etc.) but I always come back to Hoover for its superior cleaning power and reliability.
It does not mean they were perfect.
* The Hoover Wind Tunnel U6439 sacks standing, as I have had in recent years, will suck a Buick. Unfortunately it is also a Buick in the weight class. Although it is ostensibly an "I" model, it felt like I had to go into training to vacuum my house. It was something I wanted to put out because I was not sure I had the strength to fight this bulky beast in my house.
* The wind tunnel controls that allow you to change the brush height from the carpet to the floor was a manual, which is difficult to move the lever on the brush housing that they required to turn off the machine to properly manipulate them.
* HEPA filter on my old tunnel seemed to work only for the first few months. After all forms of airborne particles flying around as I vacuumed, even after I clean / replace filters.
* Finally, the sound from my previous wind tunnel something like a jet going.
When I saw a TV ad for the vacuum cleaner machines Platinum, I was quite curious. I loved the idea of getting two separate vacuum together for one price (brilliant marketing idea that Hoover). But I was skeptical, the effect of a vacuum cleaner really bring in something that weighs only 11 pounds? I had tried other lightweight vacuum cleaners in the past and their extraction dubious at best.
I made a beeline to the Internet to start researching. During several days of intense reading (yes, I am very careful), I decided to continue my trust in Hoover and took the plunge. I bought the two-machine system online (eBay) for an aggregate price of $ 379 (no tax and free shipping).
Both machines are bundled in one big box waiting for me on my porch when I got home from work. The first thing I noticed was that I could actually lift the entire box into the house without grunting like a sumo wrestler ... It was promising. After all, I was shocked in weight ... or lack thereof ... for both machines.
The physical appearance is very pleasing, it upright, smooth and elegant with a 35 "long cord, and may have utility-on-board, so along with an ingenious shoulder strap you can" have it ", while you vacuum. You will be surprised at how little these machines weigh ... a child could easily lift them both. But could they clean?
When I fired up Platinum upright, the word that kept coming out of my mouth was WOW. First of all, no more jet that starts in my room ... Just a nice HUM. Secondly, this incredibly lightweight wonder a whole new meaning to the concept of self-propelled. It apparently hovered over my carpet by itself while you still have to suck-up-a-Buick power I expected from a vacuum cleaner. It cleaned better than the one his older wind tunnel U6439 behemoth cousin did several times. I pick up things that I did not even know was there. How about making a pass under your bed or behind your cats, you have not moved since you moved 15 years ago? It was amazing how well this machine worked only one operation.
I have a rather large, bulky throw rug in my kitchen that I had prepared to replace because it was so un-vacuum state in recent weeks. Platinum made up, it looks brand new. And Hallelujah for a real edge cleaner! All claim to have the edge cleaning ability of their services, but this one really delivers on the promise. Think of the treacherous areas in your house where all sorts of things are ... as the dead zone along the skirting boards tucked under the bottom of kitchen cabinets, where they meet the kitchen floor. This platinum sucked build up all that dirt immediately ... directly to the edge.
Manoeuvrability Platinum is up fantastically. It really is as easy as Hoover requirements, and it moves as easily as a Dyson. Upright part of the machine lowers completely parallel to the floor, so it can really move the coffee table with ease. It is also moving from carpets to floors easily with an intelligent, switched on, fingertip right up there on the handle.
HEPA filtration is light years ahead of my previous wind tunnel ... HEPA think with a Hemi under the hood. Yes, I know that bags are expensive, but you can get discounts if you search online and buy in bulk. Plus, do not mind I do not pay for a product that really works ... these bags, and this new Platinum HEPA filtration system that really works. No dust or other airborne nasties were visible everywhere.
Platinum container has a carrying strap that makes so much sense. The maintenance crews who clean my office building, use strap-on canned cleaners and I've always thought it was such an intelligent design ... now I have my own. And all the tools that are attached to the device, ready and waiting for you. I toted the box in the house, cleaning window sills, corners of roofs, air emissions, everything! So I went into the garage and started to clean the inside of my SUV. It is quiet, powerful and incredibly portable ... the best "Dunk" as I've ever used.
In my first test run of this Hoover Platinum "vacuum" I found myself SEARCHING thing to clean, and I could not get enough of it. Hoover UH30010COM Platinum is simply the best vacuum PERIOD I ever owned. I absolutely love this machine ... and have two holes - an upright and a dunk - the same price just makes tremendous economic sense. It has extraordinary power in a relatively quiet, sleek and lightweight package that leaves me feeling deaf, sore and exhausted. Bravo, Hoover!
Run, not walk, to get the Hoover UH30010COM system Platinum vacuum ... You will not be disappointed.
