Eureka Lightweight Easy Clean Upright Vacuum Cleaner
When I opened the box for the Eureka Lightweight Easy Clean upright vacuum cleaner yesterday, I briefly thought I had bought a toy - the void is feather-light, which is the yellow Tonka truck and the size of this machine is comparable to a child's baseball bat. After an electrical current and ignite the power button, I was so happy to discover that this was no easy-Bake Oven, and this would probably breathe a little kid if I tried.
As soon as I Unboxed the product I took it to my living room floor and two weeks' accumulation of shed dog, sloppy-eating people (not myself, but my fiance) and cat-litter the trail. After about a minute purifying 1:05 ft Square, I took a peak in the machines, dust cup / filter room. This is where things got good (depending on how you actually see).
Viewpoint 1: Both the filter and the room the room was full of dirt, which was very rewarding and showed me the vacuum was legitimate and could benefit accumulated food crumbs, dirt and dog hair. DISCLAIMER: My dog has short hair, I do not know if it could handle a long-haired dog alopecia.
Viewpoint 2: After cleaning this small area of the carpet, dirt and hair heavily coated filters. The area I was cleaning saw just a little messy with the naked eye, so I am lead to believe that frequent filtration and drainage will be needed on a daily cleansing base. I will probably have to do this a few times per room, which is fine with me, because it at least proves that the dirt is gone.
----- Other features to consider -----
This was my first and only experience so far, so I can not say much about life. But there are some other things to point out to those who are interested in this product:
1) The Floor suction tool is small
There are about 6 inches in length and ½ inch in width. This means that it may take some time to vacuum a large room. But it is also very convenient for storage. It also has a locking feature that many prominent vacuum, so it's a bit tricky to get the machine to balance the passive. It's a bit annoying, but not a big deal.
2) The cable is short
I am a college student in a small apartment and do not mind now and then move the plug into an outlet. Eureka has made good notch cord storage on the back of the vacuum, it is easy to pack and great for storage.
3) crevice tool and floor tool
Both are interchangeable on the base. You can retrieve the stick for the Floor tool drag it to use the slots as a hand vacuum. This makes it a really cool, easy to handle 2-in-1.
4) my carpet is very thin
It seems to suck all the light dirt from my carpet, but I do not know how good it would do on thicker carpet. Note I said, 'light' bad. As I have mentioned, this vacuum small and inexpensive. It would probably not good with a really ugly story.
5) the price
It is [...] dollars. I work at a store, and when a customer came in and got me to order a $ 150 vacuum for them. I had to dig deep and embrace the most evil capitalist elements in my soul for not truthfuly give them advice, "Leave this shop once, and go to Amazon.com. Here you find a vacuum in 1 / 5 the cost for this. Also this vacuum I try to sell you are probably a bit Doody. Go now. Leave at once. Buy from Amazon.com. "
* I hope this study will clean my soul and the collection of karma gained from ^ this heartless affair *
Thus, I conclude. I have no problem with this vacuum. Actually, my first thoughts surprise for such a price. I really like Eureka and design on this one and the satisfaction that comes with time dumping the dust cup and clean the filter. I hope that my opinion does not change. But if it does, I submit to you here.
